- Is familiar with at least one of the following types of testing: regression testing, performance testing, mobile or web test automation or integration testing
- Interacts with the client to prioritize test plans and deliverables
- Defines scope, plans and deliverables for assigned tasks
- Reviews, analyses and prioritizes testing defects
- Reviews, analyses and designs test scenarios and test cases
- Able to perform business requirement analysis from a testing perspective

- Gathers facts, analyzes data, and compares alternatives in terms of cost, time, feasibility and availability of equipment and personnel
- Designs, plans and builds test plans and test strategies, analyzes project proposals and identifies omissions/errors in requirements
- Provides technical guidance to junior team members
