Account Manager, IT Professional Services

For more than 28 years, EIRE Systems has provided professional IT Services to multinational corporations operating in Japan. We offer managed IT support, outsourcing and consulting services, and many of our employees work onsite at our clients’ offices in and around the Tokyo area to deliver our services to an ever-expanding client-base.

The Account Manager in EIRE Systems is a strategically important position in the company, with two highly synergetic roles: Employee Relations and Client Relationship Management.
 

Role and Responsibilities:


1. Employee Relations:

Frequently and consistently meet with EIRE Systems’ employees who are assigned to work on-site at our clients to:

  • Provide general support and guidance.
  • Identify any service issues, coordinating and driving support and resolution.
  • Develop and coordinate staff career paths, proactively identifying future movements such that EIRE can maintain its service with the clients and our staff are able to develop their long-term careers with EIRE.


2. Client Relationship Management:

Regular contact with EIRE’s existing clients to:

  • Provide activity and other service reports, demonstrating the value of EIRE’s services.
  • Solicit feedback on EIRE Systems’ performance and identify areas for improving relationships with our clients.
  • Understand future IT requirements and identify new business opportunities.
  • Nurture relationships with the clients to maintain and strengthen existing business.

 

To effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this role the Accounts Manager will:

  • Work closely with Sales and Senior Management to develop and maintain people resource plans and prepare simple quotations and proposals.
  • Work with in-house Recruitment teams to define future recruiting requirements based on client needs, disseminating important client information and assisting the hiring process.
  • Track and manage B2B and employee contract renewals, driving client communications and supporting Operations and HR with the preparation and processing of contracts.
  • Work with the Operations and Support teams to ensure smooth delivery of services (projects and people), including coordinating backfill arrangements with EIRE’s support team, as and when needed.

 

Requirements - What we’re looking for…

  • Native-level English communications skills.
  • Japanese skills would be a plus, but not essential.
  • An ability to use Japanese in day-to-day business communications would be advantageous.
  • Experience in a similar IT services business and/or related professional services such as staffing & recruitment or other consulting services.
  • Ideally, have some knowledge about managed services and outsourcing solutions.
  • Strong customer-focused mind-set.
  • Maturity and professionalism in communications with both customers and employees alike.
  • Naturally well organised with the ability to be self-driven, proactive, and responsive.
  • Proficient use of standard tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
