Network Engineering team for Electronic Trading Infra

EIRE Systems has a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer to be responsible for evaluating, engineering, designing, and troubleshooting corporate trading networks.
As part of the Network Engineering team the engineer is required to collaborate with the Electronic Trading Infrastructure team, the Enterprise Computing team, Security team and End-User technologies teams to understand the applications and provide end-to-end network solution as per the firm network standards.
This includes selecting the right platforms, developing Bill of Material (BoM), designing new network topologies, creating and maintaining visio diagrams, configuration templates, assigning and maintaining IP address, developing migration plan and providing weekend escalation support for involved project
Skills required:
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience with a Financial Services Firm, Technology vendor or systems integrator designing, and implementing large scale low latency networks.
Expert Level Technical Skills Required
· Ethernet technologies: STP, 802.1Q, Multilayer Switching; Leaf-Spine IP Fabric
· IP Routing: OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP
· Multicast routing: PIM, IGMP, MSDP
· Platform knowledge on Cisco Switching & Routing Platforms
o Nexus 9000 Series Data Centre Switching Platform
o Nexus 3000 Series Data Center Switching Platform
o ASR Series Routers
· Platform Knowledge on Arista Switching platforms.
o Arista Datacenter and Low latency switching Platform
o DANZ, TAP Aggregation platforms
· Working knowledge on various Network OS
o Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NXOS, IOS-XR
o Arista EOS
Skills Desired:
· Ability to use Microsoft applications such as Visio, Word, Excel and Outlook
· Proficient in UNIX or Linux
· Certifications: CCIE, CCNP or equivalent (not mandatory)
· Experience with scripting / automation using Python / Ansible is a strong plus.
· Tools: Wireshark, Infoblox, HPNA, Splunk, Sevone, Ansible, Netconf is a plus
· Strong sense of security concepts include defense in depth, zero trust networking, least privilege principle, risks and controls.
