Join the EIRE Systems team of Technology Infrastructure Project Managers, Technical Coordinators and Design Engineers to deliver a variety of medium and large-scale technology infrastructure projects for our multi-national corporate customers.
The Technical Project Manager for Data Center Infra Integrations will have the following competencies, experience and certifications:
- 5+ yrs Project Management experience (Construction, system integration)
- Data Center experience (Construction/Operations/Design/Planning)
- Japanese and English communication skills (professional level)
- Japanese: JLPT N2+, and ability to speak in Japanese with domestic Telco providers, General Contractor, etc.
- English: TOEIC 800+ / IELTS 6.0+ (or equivalent), and ability to speak in English during meetings.
- Telecoms and/or Technology experience (Comms/Telephony, security, networking)
- Related industry certification such as RCDD, PMP or equivalent.
A typical project consists of:
- Understanding and finalizing project schedule deliverable for Electrical, Telecom, IT, Mechanical cooling containment, Security systems, office and storage fitout.
- Weekly progress, risk, Issue tracking and Weekly report out.
- Delivery of Electrical (bus bar/PDU/RPP or power wipes/Tap Off units), Mechanical CAC, Telecom Infrastructure, IT hardware and office & storage material onsite.
- Management of installation service for Electrical, Telecom, IT, Mechanical cooling containment, Security systems, office and storage fit-out.
- Project Manage fit-out work with landlord/general contractor, commissioning agent, electrical/mechanical/telecom/office/storage fit-out installers.
- Coordinate with/between Client’s in-house teams and Telco provider for dark fiber delivery into Client’s network rack within the leased space.
- Project Manage Corporate LAN (Wired and Wireless) installation within Client’s lease space and in collaboration with Client’s in-house teams.
- Coordinate with/between the Client’s in-house teams, landlord/general contractor, and security installer for security system fit-out scope within the Client’s lease space
- Project closeout with lesson learned review and documentation.
Other Required Skills
- Professional use of Office software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Able to read and understand complex CAD drawings.
- Competence using various Project Management software tools
Location / Environment:
Work on-site and off-site, as project needs dictate, with and on behalf of multi-national corporate enterprise clients in the central Osaka and surrounding areas.
*Must be able and willing to travel within Osaka, Hyogo, Kyoto for site visits when necessary for successful project delivery. Encouraged to work in the Corporate Head Office (Kita-ku, Osaka), at least once per week to meet the team.
