EIRE Systems, in collaboration with a leading global IT insurance provider, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ops Data Analyst & Automation Specialist to join our client’s Regional Platform and Operation Team.
As an Ops Data Analyst & Automation Specialist, you will have the exciting opportunity to collect and analyze data from diverse sources, driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will encompass data cleansing, creation of interactive dashboards and insightful BI reports, workflow automation, and identification of valuable cost-saving opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Data collection: Gather data from various sources including CMDBs, Ticketing System, Cloud Portals, and Excel spreadsheets pertaining to our client’s IT operations in Japan.
Data enhancement: Perform data cleansing and prepare reporting dashboards and BI reports to fine-tune operational processes.
Efficiency analysis: Analyze trends and processes to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvement.
Workflow enhancement: Collaborate with the workflow automation team to improve existing workflows or design new ones for internal approval processes, account administration, and similar business processes.
Cost optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities by accurately tracking subscriptions, licenses, and maintenance expenses.
What we're looking for:
Industry experience: A minimum of 2 years, ideally in IT operations or data science segments.
Strong programming skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel macros, and Power BI.
Tech savviness: Basic understanding of Windows OS, MS Office, Office 365, and Excel.
Systems expertise: Solid experience with Ticketing systems for IT support (e.g., ServiceNow or similar OSS/BSS tools and their modules), Asset Management, or CMDBs.
Framework familiarity: Knowledge of ServiceDesk support and ITIL frameworks (incident, problem, change, and release management).
Cloud services: Familiarity with Cloud Services such as AWS, Azure Platforms, and their services.
Analytics exposure: Strong experience with data analytics tools, Cloud APIs, Excel-based reporting tools, and PowerBI platform.
Automation (nice to have): Experience in Data science/analytics for IT process automation would be highly advantageous.
Excellent communication: Strong verbal, written communication skills and presentation skills.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology or an equivalent field.
Language proficiency: Conversational Level in Japanese, Fluent in English.
