Business Development Manager

Objectives:

Direct Sales accountabilities include:

  • Generating and following up prospective sales leads, managing the sales cycle through to closure.
  • Meeting new clients to identify new sales opportunities and define customer requirements.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals for new business to prospective customers and to EIRE Senior Management.
  • Developing and maintaining a sales tracking report, which will be used to track each stage of the sales cycle for all new, on-going and future opportunities.
  • Working with the Managing Director to create a sales and marketing plan targeting the companies with the greatest potential to generate increased revenue.
  • Become fully conversant with the internal process required to manage the sales process lead generation.
  • Establish a partner / channel network to generate leads on a continual basis for office relocation and setup projects.

Account Management accountabilities include:

  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers to identify opportunities and define new and on-going requirements and identify new sales leads.
  • Maintain on-going accounts through regular communication with employees and by building relationships throughout EIRE Systems - escalating employee relations issues and any other issues to Human Resources and/or Senior Management as deemed appropriate.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Build strong relationships with all existing clients, the Managing Director, Recruitment Manager, Accountant & Office Manager and the management team at Head Office and the Country Manager in Hong Kong.
  • Identify and maintain relationships with key EIRE Systems past and present employees to enable awareness of opportunities for business development.

Required Skills

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience with IT service sales in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
  • Successful Sales experience in a high-volume environment and/or knowledge of the business operations of the recruiting/outsourcing services industry.
  • An influential professional, comfortable communicating with IT Infrastructure personnel.
  • Proven ability to work and partner with senior business and IT executives.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and act on the need for urgency.
  • Fluent professional verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
