Scrum Master & System Ops Analyst

EIRE Systems, a leading provider of professional IT Services in Japan, supports a global pharmaceuticals company across multiple departments. The Japan data & AI department requires a Scrum Master & System Ops Analyst / Consultant to play a key role in supporting a critical Data Analytics platform. The platform powers decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Medical, and Market Access, serving over 1,000 users with a database, Tableau reports, and self-service analytics tools.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and drive process optimization using JIRA/Confluence.
  • Partner with the product owner to prioritize backlog and guide the development team.
  • Monitor sprint execution, report progress, and promote best practices in Scrum.
  • Manage day-to-day platform operations, including incident/problem management with ServiceNow.
  • Act as the bridge between external vendors (mainly in India) and internal teams, ensuring smooth delivery and operations.
  • Oversee access and license management for system users.
  • Communicate with end users through announcements, updates, and a knowledge base.

What We’re Looking For

  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English.
  • Experience in IT project management or PMO roles, with strong communication skills.
  • A proactive, independent approach with a strong sense of ownership.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience as a Scrum Master, Application Developer, or Business Analyst.
  • Knowledge of data analytics platforms (databases, Tableau, self-service tools).
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical business processes.
