Desktop Support Engineer

EIRE Systems- Singapore is hiring Desktop Support Engineers to provide technical assistance to one of our Banking client as a member of the Services operations team for IT Helpdesk / Desktop Support tasks.

Job Description
  • Troubleshooting of all types of PC, Laptop, Printer, Peripherals and telephony
  • Installation and configuration of operating systems and software for PC
  • Provided support for both Software and Hardware to end users
  • Incident reporting, Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problem
  • Assist in network troubleshooting and network connectivity issues
  • Assisting users on operating system, email and software related issues
  • Deployment of PC, Notebook and Printers
Job Requirements
  • Strong Computer hardware and software knowledge
  • 4-5 years’ experience in providing PC technical support
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have in-depth interest in IT support and must be IT savvy
  • Able to multi-task and work independently
  • Must have experience in banking environment
  • 1 year contract (with possibility of extension)
