Systems Integration Analyst for Business Applications

IT Business Applications Integration Analyst (IT BAIA) to support the development and integration of new and existing enterprise platforms within the company. The IT BAIA frequently interacts with end users, Service Fulfillment Analysts, Technicians, and IT Project Managers. Some flexibility is expected to perform off-hours activities, both on site and remotely.
  • Deploy and administer IT Integration applications and components using a variety of technologies, including but not limited to:
    • Java, Apache Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, PostgreSQL and Web Services in a Linux, Windows or Microsoft Azure environment.
  • Contribute to the requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing & release phases of new IT or Integration solutions.
  • Liaise with staff from other divisions for ongoing testing, development and release of solutions.
  • Participate in out-of-hours system maintenance.
  • Perform incident resolution or, when needed, escalation to the appropriate group.
  • Interact with Service Fulfillment Analysts to track and prioritize incidents and tasks in the ticket queues.
  • Ensure security and policy compliance while performing analysis, design, implementation, and testing & release tasks.
  • Participate in technical meetings.
  • Contribute updates to technical documentation, procedures and process definitions.
  • Provide input into emergency or periodically planned information systems administration tasks, maintenance/upgrades and configuration changes for IT Integration components and applications.
  • Contribute to IT projects as needed and as coordinated by the assigned project manager.

  • At least three years hands-on experience in enterprise IT development or integration environment. 
  • Ability to work with a range of software development technologies including object oriented languages. Java preferred. 
  • Technical knowledge and experience using some or all of the following: Java, Apache Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, PostgreSQL and Web Services in a Linux, Windows or Microsoft Azure environment (MS-SQL, PowerBI, Office365, etc.)
  • Understanding of Agile Development, preferably Scrum; software development best practices, 
  • Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Event driven architecture and messaging systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment and to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues and management.
  • Previous experience working in a global IT team highly desirable.
  • Strong sensitivity for cultural differences and significant global acumen.

  • English ability TOIEC 850 or above
  • Japanese JLPT N2 level or above
  • Computing or engineering degree
  • Professional technical certifications highly desirable
